The motorradfreunde welitsch are not only good and passionate motorcyclists, but also daring, hardy water rats. So on friday they celebrated a barbecue with sausages and beer in the tettau.
At an air temperature of minus three degrees, they climbed into the ice-cold waters, skillfully anchored their grill in the knee-high water of the tettau and began to celebrate a happy party. This party did not come from nowhere. Rather, it was an event called "cold water grill challenge" names. The motorradfreunde welitsch accepted this challenge, although the water was ice cold.
The vice-president of the motorcycle friends welitsch, alexander lucy, explains how this crazy idea came about. "This has nothing to do with the foolish carnival days. In this challenge you are nominated by a club, with the call to donate something for a social organization. Now it has hit us. We have been nominated by the motorcycle club langenbach." The donation of 100 euro is received by the herz-jesu-kindergarten pressig.
Of course, it is not everyone’s cup of tea to climb into the water of the tettau and light a barbecue under the evening sky, but for the good cause and for the fun, the motorcyclists dared to do it. "At the same time, we have also nominated three new clubs via a video recording", says lucy. These are the sponsor club motorradfreunde salching/niederbayern, the motorcycle club friends of states as well as the FC bayern fanclub welitsch. "Now it’s their turn to get in the water and party."
The motorcycle freaks from welitsch declare that the cold water barbecue is quite trendy. It ties in with the charitable idea of the well-known ice-bucket-challenge. Donations to a charitable organization are not a must for the action, but desired.
