Front Range hospital expands use of AI to reduce length of patient stays

On any given day, about one in 31 hospital patients has at least one health care-associated infection, reports the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which means getting patients out of the hospital and back into their lives as soon as it’s safe to do so can be critical for overall health.

To make that happen as quickly as possible, Lutheran Medical Center of SCL Health in Wheat Ridge turned to artificial intelligence technology, partnering with Qventus last year and now expanding the program.
